Global fashion house Giorgio Armani has entered into a partnership with the Italian Football Federation, in a four-year deal which will see the fashion house design outfits for the Italian national football teams.
This means that going forward, the off-field uniforms of the Italian men’s, women’s and under-21 teams will consist of Armani-designed shirts, suits, overcoats, accessories, and shoes. All of the apparels will also feature the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) shield
The deal isn’t the first football venture entered into by Armani. In the past, the Italian fashion house has partnered with top football clubs like Bayern Munich and Chelsea FC , while iconic players like David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo have also been appointed as the company’s ambassadors.
The Armani kit was debuted by the Italian men’s national team on March 23, ahead of a Euro 2020 qualifier match against Finland.
