Any doubt that Avengers: Endgame is the biggest movie in history has finally been cleared.
Apart from the movie’s gargantuan list of characters and perfect plot, this movie has gone on to break records on records on its way to the tp. Now, the final hurdle has been conquered. Last weekend, multiple sources confirmed that the final Avengers movie has become the highest-grossing movie in history.
Avengers: Endgame took about 73 days to reach the top spot, knocking off James Cameron’s Avatar to the berth. The latter was released back in 2009, and it held the title for a decade.
The Avengers movie was released back in April. As of press time, it has earned a staggering £2.3bn ($2.9bn) in revenue. It earned $1.2 billion in its opening weekend, and since then, it has put everyone on alert.
At this point, it’s only a question of whether it can reach $3 billion. With the way things are, there’s no reason why it can’t.
