Wearables are quickly becoming the face of the watch industry, as the smartwatches pioneered by tech giants like Apple, Samsung, and Huawei have been able to grab the attention of tech-savvy, 21st-century users, thanks to their ability to merge optimal functionality, mobile phone connectivity, and aesthetic appeal.
So, sensing the shift in the tides, fashion houses are beginning to adopt smartwatches and incorporate them into their designs as well. Names like TAG Heuer, Movado, Michael Kors, and Louis Vuitton throwing their hats into the ring.
Now, Armani Exchange is joining the beeline for the smartwatch industry, becoming the latest in an expansive list of brands that already have their wearable products on the market.
The brand recently unveiled the Armani Exchange Connected, a smartwatch that helps meet the needs of the stylish, tech-savvy man.
Sporting the iconic metallic band, the Connected looks more like a conventional watch than a smartwatch. However, that- in itself- is no slight to the watch’s functionality. The watch is based on Google’s Wear OS, so it’s compatible with multiple Android devices (well, if you want optimal functionality, anyway).
Just as it is with every designer smartwatch. There are little imperfections here and there. However, if you’ll like to give your style a little upgrade and still retain the premium smartwatch features, then you’ll love this.
