Bayern Conquers Europe

Bayern Munich have won the prestigious Club competition, the UEFA Champions League for the sixth time in the club’s history with a 1-0 win over Paris Saint German at the finals in Portugal’s capital, Lisbon.
French winger, Kingsley Coman’s goal in the 59th minute was enough to seal a win for the Bundesliga giant. It was the perfect end to a great season for Bayern Munich completing the treble with the holy grail of club football, having won the Bundesliga and the German cup.
The finals which was played behind closed doors due to the corona virus pandemic, had Bayern Munich tipped as favourite after an impressive 10 match winning streak , with the famous 8-2 annihilation of Barcelona as a standout performance in the quarter final.
Bayern coach, Hansi Flick in an impressive run delivered the second treble in the club’s history under the space of 10 months. Bayern joins last year’s winner’s, Liverpool, as six time champions of Europe, only behind AC Milan and Real Madrid, with seven and thirteen titles respectively.
Paris Saint-German enjoyed their best-ever Champions League campaign by reaching the finals for the first time.
