In the year in which it celebrates its centenary, Gucci announces its entry into the haute horlogerie sector with a collection of luxury timepieces
GUCCI HIGH END WATCHMAKING. The union between Italian spirit and Swiss professionalism meets in the new GG727.25 caliber, the first movement of the Florentine company developed and manufactured by the dedicated manufacture of the Kering group.
2021 is a very important year for Gucci. The year in which the Italian brand known all over the world, today at the helm of its Creative Director Alessandro Michele, celebrates its first 100 years since its foundation. A perfect opportunity to announce the brand’s entry into this high end sector with a collection of haute horlogerie masterpieces consisting of four lines, each linked to the classic elements of the brand: natural elements, flora and fauna, and of course the double.
Gucci’s first collection also includes the G-Timeless Automatic watch, featuring a bee motif, stone dial and fine leather straps, and the luxury version of the Grip. The model inspired by the world of skateboarding is in fact declined in five precious versions which, including diamonds and high-performance materials, such as sapphire crystal, are equipped with the “Jump Hour” movement. All the new proposals signed by the Florentine brand can be viewed in the brand’s boutique on Place Vendôme in Paris, exclusively, by appointment.
